So what are you guys expecting this week? We've had a TON of injuries the last few weeks, starting QB may be out, all 4 starting WR's will miss the game and one 2nd string RB may not be available.
Bring the hate!

The only hate we'll be bringing is the fact that we keep having to play you guys!
Kidding aside, I am realistically expecting a 52pt margin saturday. Even with your starters out it should still be well in hand by halftime. Depth and size are what we really lack, so I do not foresee any margin closer than that...I really don't know how our team will respond after blowing a huge lead last week. Priority one for us is to stay healthy, and honestly there was a time when we could play with the big boys but not anymore. Stay healthy, collect our check, and see you guys in again in 2016.

Bring the hate! No hate here. I really admire what Baylor has accomplished the past several years...plus I've taught several kids currently attending Baylor. Just make sure and tell the guys on the Baylor board that we're not "coonasses"...Natchitoches is a couple hours of the famed land of "coonasses" lol. I hope it's a good game for at least the first quarter but the way our defensive backfield covered WRs last week against a less than average passing QB I see this one going south quick.

No delusion here, Marco. We readily understand Baylor is one of the top football programs in the country. We just want to compete for as long as we can and get our starters out of the game before any significant injuries take place. We have a healthy respect for Baylor. Although, I do think we let y'all off the hook in basketball this past season. :-) Here's to hoping we can score at least once, both teams stay injury free and Coach Briles and Bennett have a conservative game plan.

The best thing that came from last week for us was seeing the defense hold SMU to 67 total yards.

Hopefully will be a fun and healthy game for us both. For those traveling to the game, free parking downtown (near the Hilton at Heritage Square) with shuttle service to and from the stadium starting two hours before the game. Please wander around campus, stadium, and tailgating area. They are gorgeous and yall should have a great time!
It is also only a 1 mile walk from downtown to the stadium bridge if you want to take the scenic walk along the Brazos.

Headed down from Lewisville shortly. Meanwhile, McNeese is, FOR THE MOMENT, hanging with #19 Nebraska 14-14. And UCA gave Texas Tech all they wanted last weekend. Are we just that bad these days?

I don't know, I hate to beat a dead horse but I still think we are too small and not deep enough to hang with a big12 team for a half. We have the speed though.
Nebraska has 297 yards to Mcneese's 106, if it wasn't for the pick 6 it would be 28-7. Huskers will pull ahead here in the third..score is a little misleading.

Say what you want about the pick 6...clearly McNeese is hanging with them at the most imprtant part of the game and usually the part of the game where the FBS opponents start to pull away.

Well that sucked. Just totally outclassed by a team out of our league.
Really wish their coach would have not gone for it on 4th down up 63-6. Can't accuse him of running it up (and I don't think he did or that he was trying to) because it really is on us to man up and stop them and prevent them from scoring 70.
I really wish we wouldn't have to play these games because it is really disheartening to see us getting beat down like this and I imagine the players feel pretty bad also.
We need to beat Southern in the worst possible way next week.
Best of luck to Baylor the rest of the year.

I agree, this is the last team we should have on the schedule. Lose/lose situation for us and there are other BCS schools paying out similar $$ for FCS games.
I really don't think any FCS school could've held them to under 60 points..so its not as if Sam or McNeese would've faired any better in my opinion. We busted some coverages for sure, but our starting DE and SS were injured as well as Demard Llorens so it wasn't as if we were at full strength either.
No we move on to the Jags. Im really looking forward to that game.

Yea I couldn't have been more wrong on that one…Glad to see McNeese fight to the end but that was a heartbreaking way to lose a game.

Starting DE Cornist Broadway, SS Darious Poullard, DE Justin Evans(out for the year), and RB Demard Llorens all sat out yesterday. I know Baylor had some injuries but ours are magnified because we have far fewer numbers and less depth to work with…Just saying.

Yes, on to Southern. Interesting thing about Baylor, I was looking at their donations page in their game program, it is amazing how much they have donated vs. what we have in donations. They should be expected to dominate, it is a David vs. Goliath situation (pun intended).
We need to make a statement with Southern.
