Yes, on to Southern. Interesting thing about Baylor, I was looking at their donations page in their game program, it is amazing how much they have donated vs. what we have in donations. They should be expected to dominate, it is a David vs. Goliath situation (pun intended). We need to make a statement with Southern. Well they have doctors, engineers, dentists, lawyers, business CEOs, politicians...not to mention a very passionate alumni base. We have teachers and nurses...and our alumni are passionate for LSU. And yes, we need a W against Southern...even if it's by 1 point. We need a win. Before the season started I was hopefully we might be able to put a scare and or possibly shock LaTech but after how we've played and how they completely thrashed ULL (who, after yesterday needs to drop the name obsession) we're looking at a 7 score loss in Ruston.

I think we need to put some things in perspective. The doom and gloom talk has its place, but not after we get beat by freaking Baylor. The only team in their same class of offensive explosiveness is Oregon and maybe Auburn in the history of college football. Our best teams from the early 2000's and ANY fcs team would still get curb stomped by the team we played last night. We will be just fine this year.
Compare it to what they did to similar opponents last year:
vs Wofford (an annual FCS playoff participant) W 69-3 692 yards of offense. vs ULM W 70-7 (49-0 at half; 70-0 at the end of 3) 781 yards of offense vs Buffalo W 70-13 (56-13 at half) 781 yards of offense vs Iowa State W 71-7 714 yards of offense
