Trying to get some activity going but anyone have thoughts on Lamar?
I’m personally hoping this qb sitch is settled and Eppler is the man.
Lamar is coming off a thumping of Texas tech so hard to gauge how good they are, but still feel like we have a good chance Saturday.

Lamar hasn't played like competition yet. Beat Kentucky Christian (NAIA school with 500 students) 70-7 then lost to Texas Tech 77-0. So it is anyone's guess just what this Lamar team is this year

I did watch the highlights and kingsbury was tossing it downfield well into the fourth quarter. But still I would give us the edge just on gut feeling and how well we played Saturday.

Does anyone know how serious the injury is to Desmond Prejean? I was so sad to see him go down early in the game.

Lamar? Well sure they are good at track (throwing the javelin), but are they good at football this year?

This will be a good test for the Demons, can they be impressive two games in a row and especially on the road against a conference opponent? You can't beat a team that has been 22-3 over the last couple of years and not be decent. I think the Demons will roll and surprise a lot of folks this year.

I suppose it is the normal reaction but I prefer to let the coaches do the coaching and make the decision. I think we have a really good staff.

I think we have a really good staff. Yes I’m aware I’m not a coach. My input was just that I hope we can go with one guy instead of shuffling the two in and out and I personally feel as though Eppler solidified himself as the man to go with. Conventional wisdom would say to go with the guy that played better. I’m just throwing in my two cents as we all are on here.

Yeah @cajundemon, I don’t know who you think you are, but let the coaches make the decisions. You just keep every opinion and thought to yourself. Matter of fact, that’s what we all should do. No one is allowed to provide insight or opinions on the team from here on out.
But seriously, I’m hoping Eppler is the man as well. Holgerson hasn’t been bad by any means, but last Saturday seemed to show Eppler just has a better grip on the offense.
I’ll be honest, the Demons have me cautiously optimistic.
I will say this. I don’t think Grambling is even half the team they were last year. I may be wrong and we could be their last loss on the season, but they didn’t look the same as last year. 34-7 is a great win but I am trying to not get carried away by it.

Let's see what happens the rest of the year, but for that one game last weekend I haven't seen a better performance in many years.

Yea demons16 sorry for tossing in my opinion there, I should know better by now.😂
But I'm excited for tomorrow night, using that free trial of espn+ to watch the game.

DallasDemon, I will have to agree with you. I did think we looked a lot better in execution in all 3 phases. Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited about that win.. just trying to remain cautious in saying we’re back to being a top tier program.

Wow! I suppose I should get busy and schedule some sensitivity Sessions. I did not disrespect anyone and was only giving an opinion as well. Didn’t say anything that I would not have said across the table from you. I simply don’t happen to think we have a “QB Situation”!, unless it would be a good situation. There a many dynamics that go into a coaches decision concerning the QB rotation which I’m sure it is not necessary to go into here. Sorry if I hurt your feelings
