Lots of "jawing" going on between both teams and it's very early into the game. Apparently our guys feel disrespected by McNeese (no surprise there)...but at the same time if we're gonna jaw back we better back that crap up.
So far no bueno...muffed the punt which leads to an easy TD for the Cowboys.

We just got totally f-cked on a call...wow...I have absolutely never heard of the receiver getting a "2nd chance" to get their ball back after screwing up the fair catch. This is gonna be one of those games.

Not to mention some of our guys are playing too "pissed off"...obviously we aren't having the season we all wanted but playing frustrated and mad and getting stupid penalties will only make things worse.

No excuses. We are getting our ass kicked thus far. You can't help a team like McNeese beat you. They are good enough as it is.

Our guys need to dig deep, can't allow them to come into OUR stadium and kick our ass like this.

We are getting handily beaten by a better coached, more disciplined, better athlete football team. Plain and simple. When we are healthy, we can play with anyone because we play above our heads. When we're unhealthy, we have been totally exposed. This should tell us how far down Mr. Peveto allowed our football program to fall. Coach Thomas and company have done a phenomenal job getting us to where we are. He has two more years of rebuilding before we are "back." We came in WAY too jacked up tonight. And that has played right into a confident football team's hands.

Judging by the halftime interview I would not like to be in the locker room right now.

Ill never understand how we get McNeese's A+ game every year and we never show up. Players are running their mouths too much, I hate that…losing by 30 should shut you up.

I hate to say it but there is no excuse for us to come out like this. No way McNeese should do this to us, they aren't that much more talented than us.

To be the team, you have to beat the team. McNeese will move on to the playoffs and get mauled like they normally do. That should tell us how much work we have to do because they have mauled us tonight. Tonight, McNeese has proven why they are a perennial power and we're not. Plain and simple. I hate it, but the truth hurts.

That was a good point, our starters can play with anyone in this conference but the injuries and lack of depth are just too daunting. We are getting exposed for not having anyone behind Simon and once again our lack of size at LB is a glaring issue.

I will give credit to our guys for competing in the second half.
Shows a good deal about the character of the team that they came out and didn't fold in the second half. Makes me excited about where the team is headed
