Not completely sure what to expect from this game. I'm liking what I see from our squad, very scrappy and we play to the last whistle, I love it. Play to our potential and we should win this game by multiple touchdowns. I believe SLU beat UIW bad, so by comparative scoring Ill go with….
NSU-45 UIW-17
Should be a good homecoming weekend.

I know what they say about "any given Saturday" however, I agree with you Cajundemon11, UIW is still in the process of growing into the FCS and this should be a joyous homecoming.

I don't think Jay and company will be looking for a blowout or to disrespect UIW. I think we'll work on some things we need to work on and the score will be what it will be. I also hope we can play two to three deep at many positions. We'll need to be healthy and ready to go the following six weeks, for sure.

I agree, if anything Jay lets off the gas a little too early, but thats okay. Lets just get the Win first and foremost. If we are able to get a comfy lead I'd love to see Hazlewood get some quality snaps.

Absolutely! I too would love to see Hazelwood get to play a significant amount of time.

Demons very solid in a 49-12 win over UIW. Plenty of reserve play. With the way things are shaking down in the Southland, we are still in this thing.

I really liked the manner in which we won. Controlled the game early and put it away.
The only thing that really hurts us is that SLU gets to avoid Sam Houston and I do think the Kats would knock off the Lions this year.
NSU-Sam and UCA-SLU will shape the rest of the season pretty well.
