Just brutal being at LSU tonight.
With that said this team has a HUGE chance to find some redemption against SLU. A conference championship will go a long way to erasing what happened tonight.
This is a very good team and tonight took nothing away from that.
We still have an excellent chance to make a run to the post-season. We will easily find out what type of team we have this weekend. Time to bounce back.

To put things in perspective. In 1997 LSU lost to Alabama 28-2 at the end of the season and went on to win the national championship.
Happens to everyone.

Ha, I don't know if everyone gets beat THAT bad. From a player's perspective, anytime there is a weather delay, and a long one at that...things always seem weird when play resumes.

4-2 win in game one at Southeastern sure tells me a lot about this team after what happened Tuesday. Still have a shot at a title and the top seed. As Yogi said "who'd a thunk it?"

Not surprising as we have a really good team.
Two things that impressed me at SLU:
1. SLU loaded the bases with 1 out and the team battled to get out with no damage. You could see the confidence rise after that point. Combined with some very clutch hitting and we are going to be very tough in the SLC tourney.
2. Really good Northwestern contingent at Hammond. Had some good support that was also very vocal for the Demons.
