Well, we're fixing to get about 40-60 points dropped on us. Question is, how many points can we drop on them? If that Lafayette kid starts, maybe we'll score some. The DFW QB is a good player, but has struggled lately. Good luck, boys. I'll be eatin' my weekend dose of nanner puddin' and listening in the radio.

We got our butts whipped today, boys. We get our butts whipped a lot these days. I think we have forgotten how to win. I'm about to move on to the Tide and Rocky Top and a big ol' bowl of cold nanner puddin'. We play like this next week and we'll get whipped again. I keep hoping we'll get a gut full of this, but I reckon we haven't yet.

Brad Smiley has to be the worst OC in all of FCS, TVCC can gladly have him back. Should just let a random 12 year old in the stands be our OC the way that man calls plays

The difference in this game was that SLU is a veteran team that is battle tested and has a QB that is a Walter Payton award winner. Did we have opportunities to capitalize, yes. But when that fumble was overturned, that was the turning point in the entire game. From there, the experience of a team that's been to the playoffs outshined us. I saw a lot that I liked in Clement today. Hopefully him and the kid from Arkansas will have a good battle in the spring for the starting QB position. We've decided to take our lumps and we can't be mad at that at this point. It doesn't feel good to lose, but the moxie of this team will be shown over the next few weeks. Will they quit or will they continue to play hard for Laird? We will find out soon.
