I know we are not into moral victories, however if you take away the 1st two TDs by UIW where it looks like we were sleep walking...you can say we dominated the game on both sides of the ball. A huge concern with Scooter Adams getting hurt in the 3rd qtr, but at least this team showed some fight that I did not see in the UT-Martin game. On to the next one, hopefully we can get a W.

Moral victories mean that mediocracy is the norm. It appears that the Demon fans are satisfied with the Status Quo.

This football team is full of talent. This football team makes WAY too many mistakes.
Example 1: We have fumbled five or six times near the 5-10 yard line going in to score. This would have earned us a victory at Alcorn and possibly one last night
Example 2: We have missed or had blocked far too many FGs this season and in the Spring.
This is all coaching. We have the talent to win. The coaches aren't doing a good enough job. Sorry. That said, you can see them improving here and there, but it isn't enough to equate to wins. Let's face it, these coaches are 5-6, 3-8, 1-5, and 0-4. In North and Central Looziana we would say "that just ain't good enough, hoss." This is Brad's team and he is 0-4. Own it, brother. Admit it. Nowhere is this good enough. Now, all that said, unless we can make marked improvement in a new hire, we are just gonna have to be patient with these fellas and let them learn how to win. I am not sure we can go find a game changer coach. Look at Jason Simpson at UTM. Patience with him and his staff is paying off. I say all this without a dog in the fight. It is what it is.

Amen OleDemon, I am sick and can no longer take declaring a moral victory. This will be 14 straight losing seasons. I think we lead FCS. VMI was ahead of us but they broke their string by going 8-3 this spring.

This football team is full of talent. This football team makes WAY too many mistakes. This is a good way to sum up where this team is right now. Lots of talent on both sides of the ball, but lots of mistakes. If you pay attention to the starting lineups, you will see lots of youth. We have seniors who are standing on the sidelines, because younger guys are better players. This is really Brad's team now through recruitment and attrition. I've seen every team since 1980 from Seat 16, and I can say that these guys have talent, but we are missing in the QB position. The current offensive scheme (and frankly most schemes these days) is predicated upon the play of the QB. We thought we had one for the fall who could run this system, but he and classwork didn't gee and haw. Now he's an analyst (lol), so we are where we are. Kaleb Fletcher appears to be a good athlete, I just wonder how well he handles he scheme and system. Hopefully we can win one or two this year.

Putting the blame on the QB not handling the scheme is ignoring the one who truly is to blame. This is Brad's team having been here 4 years. He has recruited players who should be 3rd year players. As a former qb, Brad should be able to recruit a qb who could run his scheme. Even if there was another who may have been better, this is a game which requires the "next man up" to be able to produce. This failure falls on the coaches. The lack of responses on this "fan" page reveals most fans are accepting the status quo and expects the Demons to remain a mediocre team.

Brad been there 4 years as HC(6 if you count him as DC) the AD really not trying at this point, it’s been 17 years since a winning season. Brad brought in a new staff this summer and things look bad, kids are announcing transfer every week since the season started. The Demons making silly mistakes at crucial times during the game for the past 4 seasons shows that coaching isn’t working. It’s like a repeat of the last 4 HCs
