What does everyone think about the recruiting class that we have brought in thus far?
Scooter Adams, RB, 5-9, 190, Kilgore College, Hallettsville, Texas
Marquise Bridges, WR, 6-1, 193, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Brookhaven, Mississippi
Logan Canedry, OL, 6-3, 295, Jones County Junior College, Caledonia, Mississippi
Logan Gabriel, RB, 5-11, 220, Lafayette Christian Academy, Opelousas, Louisiana
Eddie Godina, K, 5-11, 195, Trinity Valley Community College, Whitehouse, Texas
PJ Herrington, DB, 5-10, 185, East Mississippi Community College, Natchez, Mississippi
Jordan McClaine, OL, 6-3, 280, Ruston HS, New Orleans, Louisiana
Andy Pierre-Antoine, WR, 6-1, 180, Reedley College, North Miami, Florida
Malik Williams, LB, 6-0, 205, Gilmer HS, Gilmer, Texas
Marques Williams DB, 5-10, 196, Trinity Valley Community College, Dickinson, Texas Isaiah Robinson, DB, 6-1, 185, Bossier City, LA-Parkway HS
Two of the players I've had a chance to either see or know of very well. Marquise Bridges seems like a good find after I watched the JUCO national championship on CBSSN. Good speed, excellent hands and led the team in receiving for the game. Isaiah Robinson is gritty and doesn't take plays off.
Looking around the Southland seems Nicholls is the destination for transfers, they are going to be a handful if those guys fit into their system.

I like what I see on film, but I like what I see every year so itโs tough to say. Who knows, I feel like we really need some game breakers, a guy can that take a slant for 75 or break a run and get us some explosive touchdowns. When we scored it was such a grind and we need guys that can change games when they get their hands on the ball. Just my two cents, hopefully someone in this class can do that type of thing.

We have had some attrition at RB, probably because of the lack of a running game, so we definitely need some prospects and these two look nice on film. I'm looking forward to seeing where things are in the Spring at QB. It appears to be wide open at that position.

Sterlin Gilbert to Syracuse to reunite with Dino Babers (Eastern Illinois), but now McNeese gets Frank Wilson who is a great recruiter of talent. Thoughts?

Blessed to announce my commitment to Northwestern State University after receiving a PWO to continue playing QB at the next level. Time to get to work! ๐ #ForkEm (Always was a goal of mine to be able to make a commitment edit for myself)

If all these kids sign LOI on next Wednesday, this could be quite a recruiting class for Coach Laird and company. Looks like an excellent group with the one's already signed added in. Welcome players and nice job coaches.
