Tech does not make it hard to dislike them. I understand what he is saying, to a point. You do have to aspire to play better teams. But, at least to me, he comes off as saying that Tech is somehow massively above other in-state schools. First off, ULL is above Tech right now. Compared to the other state schools Tech hasn't done anything to stand-out from the crowd. Secondly, they have never beaten Tulane. I wonder if he realizes that Tech's AD is a Northwestern grad. From Terry Bradshaw: "“I’m all for bigger and better. I’m the one that said I’d rather play 10 major college universities and lose every one of them than to beat Northwestern or Northeastern or Southeastern or USL or whatever they call themselves now. To me, that’s just better.”" I’ve never been so sick in my life to know that they came in our house, Tulane, who tried to keep us out of the conference, and beat our ass right here,” Bradshaw said. www.shreveporttimes.com/article/20140414/SPORTS0203/304140020/Terry-Bradshaw-Louisiana-Tech-my-love-

They are going to lose to us and are falling way behind ULL in all sports.

Ya know, I would not at all be surprised if we leave Ruston with a W...I think our coach is better than their coach and they'd probably agree. We'll have to play some solid football early in the season to get a win. The "Spirit of Northwestern" will also be there to support the team and show the Techies what a real college band looks and sounds like."

You are right...our coach is better than their coach...and our band is as well. We beat them in vball, baseball, softball. Our athletic program is better.

I hate to admit it, but if there's a clear #2 right now in Louisiana, it is definitely the cajuns.

I certainly wouldn't bet against McNeese if they ever gave them another game.

I was certainly wrong about ULL being better than tech, either the cajuns are down or tech is much improved. Depending on how we play saturday and how good I feel leaving the game we could be in for a long night in Ruston.

Went to the North Texas/Louisiana Tech game in Denton on Thursday night. The Bulldogs had a good game especially riding the strength of their QB, although I think probably a better statement is that North Texas is not that good of a team this year. Yes, Bulldog fans, you should be heavily favored to beat us based on sheer numbers. However, remember you are still ~40 points worse than a decent BCS team and obviously have a long way to go before being competitive where it really counts in your mind.

NSU has the best music program in the state of course the band is better then tech. Hows your engineering program? Man you guys are funny. Hope yall have a good crowd in Ruston. I haven't looked at that post since April...after 2 games into the season the Demons aren't looking as good as we had all anticipated and the Dawgs are looking much better than anticipated, even by y'all, I believe we have little to no shot of pulling off a shocker. LaTech takes this one by 5-6 TDs. And we're not any more "funny" than y'all. The same type of comments here are also represented on LaTechBBB only in higher volume. NSU does not have an engineering program nor will we ever be allowed to offer it due to program redundancy within the ULS and distance to Ruston. My whole grind with Tech people is that they paint every university that isn't Tech as some sort of shitty waste of money that shouldn't exist. NOTE: Thanks for the compliment on the music program. I've had a LSU graduate tell me that if you want to be a music education major you should go to NSU. Especially after their regime change. Tech is a very fine university with many great degrees. It's just the attitude of a lot of the people towards anything other than Tech that I will never understand.
