Demons get a STELLAR pitching performance from Oller, winning 3-0 to tie for 1st place.

Awesome game. McNeese is a very tough team and I thought it would be tough to win this series. Huge win for the program. We need to win one more so we can firmly assume the drivers seat.

Don't look now, but there's a 3 way tie for 1st between us, McNeese and the nicholls couyons!

Daughdrill breaking the game open with his 2nd HR of the day puts the Demons up 7-2 forcing McNeese to take their ace pitcher, Clemens, out of the game!
Gotta root for UCA to beat the nicholls couyons tonight!

Bot of the 8th...looks like we're trying to give this one away...finally out of the inning leading 10-8

Wow...Demons just lost the game on a hit batter after being up 10-5. Bullpen absolutely cratered and too many passed balls. Really can't give McNeese much credit for the win because by all accounts we did everything possible to lose the game (not intentionally)...still leagues better than we were last year and most probably didn't expect us to be in the hunt for 1st place.
Gotta come out tomorrow and take back the one we just gave away.

Doesn't look like we'll get any help from UCA either today...nicholls already has the bases loaded with no outs in the B2!

Demons shake off yesterday's collapse and go out and win game 3 to take the series, and their 5 SLC series! In other news, nicholls loses to UCA which creates a 3 way 10-5 tie for first.

So close to sweeping and claiming first place outright! Still amazing to me that we have won every series this year! Also I don't think baseball standings have ever been so top heavy for Louisiana schools.

I am still unsure why the Cowboys are doing so well this year, but I will take it! I was there Saturday behind the catcher. I am still not sure what the strike zone was, but most of the balls called on the Cowboys batting that drew reaction from the Demon Fans were a bit low or outside. My Grandsons were playing games in Spring, or they would have been shagging pop fouls behind the bleachers! The last time I brought them they brought home 14 balls! Greedy little so and so's...
