Very dangerous Sam squad coming to town this weekend, honestly I thought for a few weeks they may have a down year even for their standards but seem to be back on track. I think it’s an obvious statement but can’t keep shooting ourselves in the foot. Missing field goals, turning it over in the red zone and not capitalizing on field position will give us a similar or worse result than last week. Should be a good time before the game regardless, hopefully we can cook up some magic Saturday, I don’t know.

Looking forward to this game. You guys always seem to give us fits on the road. You are correct that our offense has finally gotten on track with our RS Freshman QB Ty Brock. The first three games were a disaster with Mike Dare, a transfer from Rutgers through a JC. Brock is the real deal. We also have found a consistent running game with Kyran Jackson. Of course we think we have the best WR duo in the nation in Nathan Stewart and Davion Davis (check out his catch here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFFnY1C0HZk. Our O-line is banged up. Our center is the only original starter from the beginning of the season. The defense has been the surprise. Historically, we have had terrible defenses to go along with great offenses. Now we have a good, not great offense and the defense seems to have stepped up. Losing P.J. Hall really hurt, but we've got some pretty good players. Our linebacking crew is experienced and solid. Our DBs are mostly young except for safety Adrian Contreras. Hoping for a well-played injury free game.

I read on AGS that some kat fans seem to think they always have trouble at Turpin and aside from the upset I’m 14 it’s always seemed to me at least like you guys come in and wax us. No doubt there is some serious talent on your squad. Our new staff has us in the right direction but we just don’t have the horses to really play in the upper tier of the conference just yet. Sorry about the abysmal turnout on here.

Sorry about the abysmal turnout on here. We don't always lose at Turpin, but it always (at least from our view) seems like it is a battle. As for the forum, winning will bring people out. Glad to hear you like your coaching staff. The more good teams in the conference the better.

Tough to say how the game will play out. I know we are down a couple corners so those receivers might have big games, at the same time nicholls had their way with us on the ground so we’ll have to get creative and gamble to get stops. I’m kind of expecting a 21ish point Sam win here but hoping we can hang tough.

You guys should join our board at katfans.com. We have quite a few members from other Southland schools. We also have a couple of fans from other schools like NDSU, Northern Iowa, Delaware, and others that post occasionally. If you can handle a little smack talk every now and then, all are welcome.

If we get to a point where we can back it up a little I would love come over and have some banter and fcs dialogue.

We just can’t move on from turning it over and getting penalties. Luckily we turned them over 4 times or the score would’ve been worse.

You guys have some talent out there. Your WRs are big and fast. That Ferguson dude is a beast. I think your future is bright.

Thanks for the kind words, we have some skill guys but need some depth and size up front on both sides to really get into that upper tier of the league standings. Hopefully one day. Best of luck with the rest of the season.
