Time for Grambling, this will be a good test for determining the makeup of the Demons for the 2018 season. Grambling had another impressive year last year finishing at 11-2 with a 23-10 victory over Northwestern in Grambling. Last week's game at Texas A&M can't be used as a litmus test for this year's team, there was an obvious talent (and money) difference, our check has been deposited from this money game. In the meantime, the Tigers lost to ULL by a score of 49-17 in their own money game.
I say the Demons put up a good showing against a quality opponent and come away with the victory. Others?

My expectations are more or less checked for Saturday. I just don’t think we are there yet personnel wise but I liked the way we competed and am expecting a hard fought game tomorrow. From what I’m reading it appears grambling has some holes to fill as well so we’ll see. Can’t wait to get out to Turpin and see us against a better matched opponent. I’ll have a good time either way.

Pretty solid win last night. Loved the offensive production.
Only negatives I would really say would be coming out a little flat after being up at halftime and if we face another running QB with better arm/accuracy we could be in trouble.
Great game...hate I missed it in person.

Yesterday was a great day to be a demon! We looked so much better than last week and last year especially. I think Eppler is the guy we should go with, he was efficient and accurate.
Defense had some huge takeaways and all around just a solid performance. Very much looking forward to these guys can do in league play.

I know it is just one game but this is the most solid performance top to bottom I have seen since the 2004 team. If we continue play like this we could have the start of something special.

Great game...hate I missed it in person. It was a great atmosphere. Spoke with Dr Maggio before the game and he said they had a record enrollment for freshmen on campus this semester! Very cool and the students showed up. I’ll agree with you on the mobile quarterback point though, he made some plays with his feet on 3rd and long a couple times.

What a great day to be a Demon. We are so well coached, like a well-oiled machine. Very impressive against a team that is 22-3 over the last two seasons. Atmosphere was incredible...the Demon Den tailgating trailer was rocking!!
I loved everything about it...now if we can just get that kicking game worked out.
