Lady Demons are just pitiful...they seem to be getting worse as the season progresses...or maybe it's that our opponents are improving as the season goes, along with losing three starters to injury. I watched on ESPN3 and we were down by 30 points...as if we're playing a Big XII team.
The men will need their best game of the season to beat SFA on their home court.

I watched the first 10 minutes of the 1st half...we had a load of missed shots and it looked like we were getting absolutely mugged under the basket and it not getting called.

I was at the game. Full disclosure, I’m an SFA fan. The refs were there usual inconsistent self, but we are all still shaking our heads at the technical on Mike. It was not from the bench ref but from clear across the floor. Even with your record, I was nervous because you had played some good close down-to-the-wire games. I think this was completely unexpected. But after last year’s loss at SFA, I couldn’t imagine us not playing full bore this game. I hope this isn’t a touchy subject, but we never really heard why Jalen and the team parted ways. He was great in his prime. What finally happened? Good luck the rest of the way. I hope you get a conference win or two, fans deserve it.

Thank you Red River, classy post and I have tremendous respect for the SFA basketball program. Unselfish and disciplined play has been a staple of the Lumberjacks for years.
Definitely not the best night for the Demons but I atribute that to SFA. Not sure what caused the wheels to fall off so bad.

Thanks. As much as we want to beat you and you us, it’s no fun to watch a program hit tough times. Really curious as to how Jalen could put so much effort into coming back and then out of nowhere, was gone.

Thanks...IMO, had we had Czar Perry and Love the entire season I think we might've had a win or two in SLC. As for Jalen and the other player that left...maybe one day the details will surface but as of now I still have yet to hear why, other then "personal reasons".

Devonte lost his love for the game. Not sure why BUT he no longer enjoyed playing. That can be attributed to soooo many different reasons. Jalen had a lot of pressure on him specifically from family members. NTM I believe he may have been frustrated that he was not his old self. I agree with the above statement that he put in so much work and to just leave seems crazy BUT he had a lot of pressure from others. Somewhat like Devonte I don't think the game was fun for him anymore. Probably doesn't fully answer the question but it had a lot to do with that. I have kids who play sports and the no. 1 thing I say to them is that you have to have fun. Once the game is no longer fun then I tell them to step away. Sounds like that is what happened to Devonte and Jalen.
