Watched the mens game...despite all that the team is going through losing players and how young they are I thought we played hard and put up a respectable fight against the SLC's best team. Good first half but everyone watching knew that SFA would make adjustments in the 2nd half and that's when our youthfulness was most obvious.
The most frustrating thing for me as an observer are the silly turnovers, trying to make NBA moves and #1 is we have Lane and Owens, two very capable big men and we don't know how to get them the ball. If we could feed them more passes into the paint that could be a game changer for us...but traditionally we've never been a team to feed the big man inside.

I was impressed with what I saw against SFA also. WE try too hard at times and it bites us. Still it was a good showing and hopefully it will give us a littel confidence. Would love for this team to make a run and have a chance in the tourney.

It's going to be tough to make a legitimate run at the Conference Tourney BUT the team is definitely looking better. Ish and Sweeney are playing better overall and have to continue w/o Jalen. Those two have to step up at the leadership role in order for this team to have a chance. Seems like they have been doing that the past few games. CJ is playing with much more confidence at the PG position. I actually have a good feeling about the game this Saturday. I know the students are coming back this weekend so hopefully the team will have a good crowd.
