Demons (1-0 SLC) vs Lions (1-1 SLC)
The Lions boast an option-based offense (#1 run O in the SLC) that has run for over 350 yds in the two games their starting QB (Lorenzo Nunez) has been available: ULL and Lamar. They handled Lamar pretty easily last weekend while the Demons were off. SLU is yet another team the Demons face that runs a 3-3 Stack defense. It’s the third in a row as Grambling and Lamar both ran it. The Lions give up a lot of yards through the air (290+ per game).
Thoughts?

Anxious to see if we can eleminate the turnovers on offense and how we defend The option. We are not that far away but need to take it up a notch at some point and prove it.

I've felt we've been pretty close to SLU the last couple of years just can't seem to get out of our own way against the Lions. If we can find an offensive rythem against the Lions I think we will be OK.
I have a feeling that they will put up some points on us and its going to take 30+ points for us to knock off the Lions.

This is our time if we eliminate miscues. For the first time in a long time we have the talent and strategic advantage. Stay home on assignments and make the QB pay (legally but painfully) on every touch.

Didn't see that coming. Not even sure what to say anymore. Flat out destroyed again.
Just speechless after that game.
Doesn't get any easier next week...

There's nothing left to say anymore. Great crowd, great tailgating, our fanbase/university deserve so much better.

Love my Demons. I'll continue wearing my purple and rooting for them every Saturday.. but I'll see y'all when Thomas is gone.
