I hate to see Big Zeek leave early, but I guess I can cheer for him to do great in the NBA. Hope a good team gets this great talent.
Per a tweet from Jeff Goodman, ESPN Basketball Insider:
"Northwestern State guard Zeke Woodley (22.2 ppg) will declare for the NBA Draft, but will not hire an agent, Mike McConathy told ESPN."

He's not going anywhere. The NCAA has adopted a rule this year that allows for underclassmen to declare for the draft and return to school by mid May, assuming they don't hire an agent. Basically it's a way for a player to be evaluated by NBA folks and see what they need to work on to have a chance to play professionally. TONS of players (including the entire Kentucky team) are doing it to get a free NBA evaluation. Zeek will be back next year. No fear

Good deal! I was really sad to think that he would head out early and move on with one year left to dominate the Southland in scoring. We will definitely need his leadership and skills.

No fear Patrick, Do you know if there has been any word on whether Jalan West will be able to get a medical return for another season? Just curious...it has been awfully quiet around these parts.

Last I heard the NCAA had requested more information from NSU and the school had sent it to them. That was a week or two ago
