First of all, it's great to see our team playing the brand of football we all thought they were capable of at the beginning of the year. And we can get much better, which is the scary part. However, our final three opponents deserve all the respect we can give them and more. Abilene Christian will come into Natchitoches with something to prove. ACU is also a former DII powerhouse team, so they are capable of beating just about anyone in the league as we saw this past weekend against McNeese. Also, our crowd will be slim as our decision makers have chosen not to move the game up to keep from competing with a HUGE LSU/Bama game at 7pm on CBS. So, this weekend will be interesting. IF we can pull off another win, we can go to Huntsville with some significant momentum. One thing is for sure ... we'll need it.

I'll be there with 7 of my high school band kids for senior day. Hopefully we get a win...the last time I was down there with my high school kids was the UCA debacle.

Coach Thomas has had added stress. His father has been ill and in the hospital. He had a stint put in and is doing better. Good luck, tonight.

Great win tonight!!! Our team is improving every game. Our defense was stellar for three quarters and our offense just keeps putting up plenty of points to win every game. I'm thinking the coaches have figured some things out because this is NOT the same team that hit the field earlier in the year.

Really solid win tonight. Coach Thomas deserves a ton of credit for getting the ship turned around.
Really wish we could play Southeastern again as I have no doubt we would take them.

So glad the players are learning every week. Perks to the coaches. Too bad we started with such a horrible schedule.

So glad the players are learning every week. Perks to the coaches. Too bad we started with such a horrible schedule. Yeah ULL & Mississippi St were tough but I'm with Track Demon in that SLU is not all that. That's a game we could have won and I think we would now. Same for Incarnate Word. Schedule was not easy for sure but for several reasons the team was not in synch at that time. I agree with an earlier poster that Jay and his staff deserve credit for righting the ship. And the players have done their part too.
