I let my emotions get the best of me today. I thought I was past that feeling in my life. I reckon not. I would like to apologize for my words earlier. I love my alma mater and I like our coach. I sure hope he can find a way to figure this out. However, I am hearing and seeing on social media a lot of talk about needing change among our fans. I had an LSU fan tonight ask me, "Son, how in the world did y'all lose to UIW?" I just said, "They outplayed us and we're not very good. In fact, it's the worst NSU team I've ever seen take the field. Ever." Now, I was living in another state when we went 0-11 with Peveto, so maybe we were worse then. I don't know. Anyway, I need a break from all this to keep my focus on my normal life. It's just sports and doesn't mean a hill of beans in the grand scheme of things. Have a nice evening.

I don't think you owe anyone an apology. It is possible to both like and support this staff while also feeling that results like this year aren't acceptable and that changes need to be made.

Thank you. Your comment is spot-on, by the way!

I saw that defeated Peveto team play a few times that year. I believe this team is worse. The 0-11 team was SO close to wining 2 or 3 games that year but that old saying of being "snake bit" is about as accurate as I can describe it. They didn't look so unprepared to play a football game as this team and I'm 100% positive that our defense was better than it is this year.
This team MIGHT get lucky and beat nicholls but IMO it's a notch below the 2010 team.

That was a really bad Peveto team. This team was at least in the game with SLU. We'll see how the rest of the season pans out, the team can either take it as a challenge and step it up or just give up altogether.
