The sad part is everyone around me is leaving after halftime. Our players and coaches need to understand you have to earn a crowd to the game and keep the crowd during the game. I still have faith, but it's waning as the moon waxes. At the game. This is horrible. Sad party is that there's a decent crowd...most of which won't come back. It's not that they're losing its how they're losing...totally unprepared to play a game. I won't be back for homecoming.

If Blumenthal isn't given a chance tonight, it will be a travesty. He is obviously the best QB thus far this season.

I'm shocked at how bad we look. Really no excuse at this point in the season.

You know, our defense is just bad. I accept that. But, why in the world would you run a zone read with Almond in at QB? Our play-calling is atrocious. UCA is the better team, but dadgum ... can we not coach our boys up to compete in the SLC? This looks like a combination of what Peveto (terrible play calling) and Stoker (penalties/lack of discipline) would put on the field.

This is all I have left to say. Blumenthal is the best QB and our coaches are now on a hot seat. These performances are unacceptable. Losing is one thing. This is altogether different.

Our coaches have to be on the hot seat. Totally unacceptable on every level. I'm not asking us to run the table every year but I expect us to be competitive. WE have now been blown out in every game this year. The players are playing hard. This is on the coaches for not having us ready.

Well I will say I was really impressed with the stadium and the tailgating. But when coach rotated second stringers in during the second quarter the game itself kinda lost its fun. Good luck the rest of the year Demons. I know it won't be easy but keep supporting your Demons.

JD Almond played the entire game, with the exception of one play when he lost his helmet on a big hit and Blumenthal came in. Almond went 19-of-33 for 275 yds with 2 TDs and 1 INT

Well theres not much to say. This is just an awful football team and I'm having flashbacks to the 0-11 season of 2009. Thats how bad it is. For the first time since I can remember I left a game early because we were losing. Just pitiful. I don't know how hot Jay's seat will be when we finish this season 2-9/3-8 maybe, but a serious staff shake up is in order.

We have about six players that will get looks by the NFL -- Eagan, C. Jones, Moore, Wickman, Murphy and Wilson. To be beaten 83-41 in two conference games, at home, is simply not good enough. I want Jay as our coach until he retires. I think he fits our personality, but you cannot coach Division I football without scrutiny. And the "Oh, well ... we're just not getting many breaks, so we will keep at it" is no longer acceptable. The players are playing their tails off. As TrackDemon said, "This is on the coaches." Love the purple and orange jerseys, BTW.

Teams that win consistently make their own breaks. That's what UCa did.
Gotta admit i was pretty ticked off when I read that comment as well.

I've been in Seat 16 since 1980. The only other time we have looked this bad was the 0-11 season with Peve. Pretty sad... I hate it for the guys who are playing hard. We have talent, just a poor job in execution. Not sure if it is coaching, or coaching up?
