Holy Crap, did not expect us to blow away SFA 62-44, but this is AWESOME. Been a long time coming. Can't believe how quickly the Stoehr's have turned this around. Great things happening with the basketball programs at NSU. I'm speechless. Also, best of luck to the Lady Techster's in the tournament as well PARTY PARTY

On more good news, at halftime Greg Burke was interviewed at halftime and said that this is the last year of the current Katy deal and that he supports the tournament going back to campus sites.

First of all, congratulations to the Lady Demons! I must say that after SFA stomped my Cowgirls yesterday that this was quite a shocker to me. Y'all made the Lady Jacks look just pitiful! Three of the last four tournament champions have been from Louisiana, like it should be!
It would be nice for the fans to have the tournament at campus sites, but the commissioner was interviewed at halftime on CBS Sports and did not give this indication.
I'm sure that y'all know the Lady Techsters are in search of a new coach....
Good luck in the NCAA! Fork 'em Lady Demons!

Yes...we're VERY aware that the Techsters are looking for a new coach. Brooke's name has already been mentioned on the Tech board...let's hope they realize that she isn't "big time" enough for them and they look elsewhere!

From what I gather the commissioner prefers the tourney at Katy while Burke prefers campus sites.
I am hoping enough AD's want the tourney on campus sites.
I also agree, glad to keep the title in Louisiana.
Now we need to keep the football title in Louisiana for good. I'd give anything for the NSU-McNeese rivalry to return to the levels it was at between 1998-2002.
The only scary thing about Tech right now is that they have a competent AD who may take the best coach instead of a big name.
