Well, I saved the QB position for last because it's going to be hard to figure out due to tough competition. This is how I see it shaking out and I could be way wrong:
Stephen Rivers -- 6'7"-235lbs -- Senior -- AL -- Rivers has the talent to take us places this Fall. I wish he'd come to NSU earlier, but we'll see what he can do. I'm naming him the starter simply because the coaches would not have brought him in unless he was going to start. Now, he has a role to play in this and we'll see if those plans come to fruition or not.
Daniel Hazelwood -- 6'1"-205lbs -- Junior -- TX -- Hazelwood is a very talented football player and if Rivers trips up, I think we'll be in good hands with the "Bear."
J.D. Almond -- 6'0"-210lbs -- Sophomore -- LA -- Almond is coming along nicely and has a chance to be in the mix in the next couple years.
Now, I think the following two players will be redshirted, however ... if we falter at QB out of the gate, don't be surprised to see one of these names move way up the depth chart:
Joel Blumenthal -- 6'1"-195lbs -- Sophomore -- OK -- This kids is lightning fast and very talented. On paper, he needs to be on the field ... somewhere. However, he could be redshirted this season and would have three years left to play.
Austin Skinner -- 6'0"-200lbs -- Freshman -- TX -- This young man will be redshirted. He was a dynamo at his position in Texas. Obviously, he's lacking the size FBS schools desire, but he has the potential to be a very, very good player in the future.
As always, the heights and weights are within an inch and five to ten pounds. Also, I think this position is our most enigmatic. Yes, we have a lot of depth and talent, but who is going to rise to the top? We'll see.
Oh, Nick Fabrizio, who is now a WR, will play some Wildcat. He's good ... real good.
*TJ Fleeton transferred from NSU, which was a good move on his behalf. I wish him the best.
