Men get winner of SLU and McNeese. And I am sure whoever wins that one will want revenge on us. We best be ready and play defense all game long. Also, Lamar must be on probation?

IDK...I looked at the bracket the other day and thought, according to where they had the seeds, that we'd play the winner of the Lamar vs. nicholls/UNO game...oh well.
Our boys better have their asses ready to go...beating a team three times in a season is TOUGH and SLU gave us TWO scares and McNeese gave us a scare down in Lake Charles...either way, we better rebound against them both or we'll be ONE-AND-DONE! No looking ahead to SFA, for sure!

Abilene and UIW are still in transition and ineligible. UCA, HBU and Lamar are all ineligible due to APR issues. So the tournament field has actually been set all year long, just a matter of seeding. Only 8 teams were eligible to go to Katy to start with.

It's just a matter of the shots falling or not. If we shoot well, play solid defense and rebound well, we will win the first game. If any of those three are off, we are in for a fight. If two of those three are off, we lose. IF we win, I am not sure we can beat SFA, but we did play them well at Prather, so anything can happen. IF we were to find a way through the first two games, I like our chances on Saturday night.

SLU and McNeese neck and neck...I think I'd rather play McNeese than SLU, honestly.

Well, at least they'll be a little extra tired from going to overtime...55-55 SLU and McNeese.

Lady Demons had, at one point, a 10 point lead but, as we normally do, the Lady Demons went ice cold and UCA went on a 15-4 run to end the half to give them a 24-23 lead.

McNeese was able to close the gap slightly, but Demons are still ahead at the break. 41-34. Woodley carrying the load with 18 points.

Rebound, rebound, rebound...that's why McNeese is still in this. They are getting 2, 3 and sometimes 4 chances at a shot because they're crowding the paint before every shot they take. Whereas, we either make the shot or play defense...rarely do we get 2nd chance points. Hopefully, McNeese starts to wear down in the 2nd half from their game yesterday.

Solid win for the Demons. Going to be a tough semi-finals for both teams but I want a rematch with SFA as I do believe we can take them if we play well.
