This seems like a team that is one of those expect the unexpected type teams. Can play with #18 Arkansas till the final buzzer and then has to pull out a 21 pt comeback vs New Orleans….Who the hell knows. We know what we are going to get with McConathy. Fast tempo, lot of points and possessions and not the best defense or rebounding. I'm more than okay with that, i would rather be exciting than boring. Our two guards make up a majority of our scoring and we can't really count on a consistent 3rd contributor, I don't know if that will get it done in Katy. But what I do know is that we will be fun to watch and can beat anyone on a given night. It's easy to get negative on these guys and when I saw the score in the second half of the UNO game I was like "what the f" but it seems like this is what we have been for several years now and you have to take the good with the bad. At the end of the day we are still in 3rd place in an 11 team conference and looking at a bye in the conference tourney, things could be worse.

Well said. I think everyone here loves the team, hence the frustration, at times. I think a healthy Marvin Frazier and surging Travon Joseph will help us a lot. All we need is Killian, Welcome, King, Deji, Reggie, Hall, Thompson and Dobbinson to do is give them breathers and be productive while they're in there. And we are almost always fun to watch. I just want another trip to the dance.

Kissoonlal sustained a leg injury very early in the season and has been out since then...I'm thinking they ended up redshirting him. HOPEFULLY, we get another year out of Deji if we win the appeal. I know Coach McConathy was VERY bitter about the whole situation...stating that other schools win their appeal but we get denied and Deji is the one that suffers, not NSU.
