Played Arkansas pretty well before eventually falling 100-92. Cut the lead down to 4 a few times in the second half but couldn't get closer than that. The team seems to be improving and it looks like they should be OK come conference time. Not sure we are ready to make a serious run for the title yet, but we are making strides.
Props to the Hog radio team, were complimentary and respectful towards NSU.

Excellent effort. Hopefully we can combine this improving group and add in some help from King and Deji in January and compete for the title. Arkansas is better than TAMU, so we've improved tremendously from the first game. I think we'll make the Southland Tourney barring any key injuries. From there, who knows?

Totally forgot the game was today. Awesome to see that we're finally playing up to our potential.
I watched the highlights on ESPN and we had some pretty damn impressive shots/dunks!

Score should have been 98-92. With time winding down one of our guys got poked in the eye causing him to lose the ball and they scored uncontested in the final seconds as he was on the ground. Even their announcers said it should have been called.
Had the refs called that the final score would have been closer.

What happened to the other freshman big man? I have saw him on the bench at the ULL game.

You mean the CC transfer from North Dakota? I read something on this board about eligibility issues and only being allowed to play a certain amount of games during this season. Which is odd...I've never heard of such...either you're eligible or you're not.

I think he means Reggie. Reggie is dealing with a knee injury. Deji, the transfer, is out for the first 14 games of the season.
