I was able to see Natchitoches Central play a couple of times this past season and they had some legit talent on the field, especially at the skill positions on offense. They ran a pretty wide-open spread offense and let Jr. QB Austin Guy (6'4" 207 lbs), who is truly oozing with talent and natural athletic ability, throw it all over the field. Reginald Turner (6'3" 190) was their big prototypical WR and seems to be the most sought after recruit. As you can tell from his highlight film that Cajundemon posted, he is big, strong, and fast. We would obviously love to have him stay at home, but as CD mentioned, he is being looked at hard by several others schools and I'm sure has been offered by some as well too. Hopefully he wants to be a Demon.
NSU has apparently offered and recieved verbal commitments from 2 other Natchitoches Central players, WR/CB Darian Raymond (6'0" 170) & TE/WR Deshon Ficklin 6"2'
I talked with one of the Natch Central assistant coaches and he had nothing but great things to say about Darian Raymond. Said he's a tremendous athlete who could end up fitting in on either side of the ball in college. He has an excellent work ethic and is a leader to all around him on and off the field. Said he's very polite, knows how to behave, and if he isn't a 4.0 gpa student, he's close to it. I know all the coaches at NC are very high on Darian Raymond and have heard thoughts on him being as good of a prospect as Turner...
Deshon Ficklin was the Chiefs TE that would occasionally split out wide on offense. Apparently he is loaded with talent and has the ability to be a good player at the college level, at whatever position he ends up at.

NCHS was loaded! These kids are extremely talented. If we can get all 3 I would be thrilled.
How in the world did NC not advance in the state playoffs?

It takes a team to advance and win championships. We need these lads on our team because we're going to win a championship.

I watched it earlier. My question...do we need more QBs or will he be in another position?

You are most welcome, sir.
After this last weekend, everybody wants to brag on where they are going. D1-bound is the operative word. I just seize the opportunity, LOL! Actually I've added a commit since your post and changed the format.
Can't say that they are all correct but probably 98% correct. Commitments are not really confirmed till signing day.
Reginald Turner is a special player. He is a big "get" for the Demons. I know McNeese lost on Mr. Turner but that's just recruiting. Good Luck to the Demons on "Signing Day"!

The Morgan kid from Mesquite Horn reminds me of a kid over here in our district, the highly touted Daylon Mack from Gladewater H.S.
Mack is a DLineman and Gladewater would use him as running back, especially on 4th down or 3rd and short situations and was just an absolute beast.

Well we may have gotten Turner but McNeese has done their fair share of beating us out for kids…as evidence by the zillion game winning streak against us.
