With the latest signees and those that left, one could see a change in the winds. Frankly, some great natural talent in the past few years (with the notable exception of Ish Lane) have so underperformed. If the right talent shows up and embraces the team concept (vital to McConathy's philosophy) then we just might see a tremendous return to the upper group in the Southland.

This next year has the potential to be ugly. We'll most certainly be back to the bottom in the preseason picks. I hate sounding pessimistic, but this is actually more realistic until we prove differently.

I agree with NSU Pride. It's going to be ugly. While I cant speak for this offseasons departures, past departures have gone on to produce at other places. So to me it's the coaching. I respect Coach Mike BUT new blood is needed as he doesnt relate well to today's athletes. Too many old school views and he's NOT going to change.

Also good coaches bring out the best in players NOT make them want to leave your program.

Trying to think of who has left that has done well elsewhere. I did hear that the left handed point guard from two years ago landed somewhere but don’t know if he did well. Plus just my opinion but he had quickness but was also out of control a lot of the time. And was not very court smart. Just can’t think of anybody else unless it’s guys that transferred to lower division schools and if that’s the case, they weren’t going to help us anyway.

Demonsgoon.......I didnt quite word it right. Should have said there are guys who transferred and went to bigger schools so it's not about their ability. You are referring to Czar Perry who yeah played out of control but was a real talent. He's now at Cal State Bakersfield which made it to the College Insiders Tournament. He had to sit out a year due to transfer rules. Jordan Bell is at Loyola Marymount who finished 22-12 and also made it to the College Insiders Tournament. Caleb Starks is at a JuCo, from what I've heard, is getting a serious look from ULM who beat NSU pretty bad this year. We'll see where this years transfers end up. My original statement is more about these guys obviously have talent as schools that are performing much better than NSU are getting these kids so it's not like they are going from D1 to DIII.
