I must say, it feels good to end the season on a good note but most importantly ending a streak in Lake Charles where we haven't won since 1988. Now that the season is over, curious to see if we stay with the status quo, turn it around, or make a change. A lot of questions as we go into the off-season.

Man, I'm normally deep down them red clay roads that wind in them piney wood hills this time of day, especially on a weekend. Old lady has me getting ready for a church gathering, though. I sure am glad we got that win yesterday. I come home and couldn't believe my eyes. Ain't won in LC since '88. I was in my early 40's and still tough as nails back then. Still tough, but them nails bend a little bit now. If'n I remember correctly, we should have won about five times in LC since '88. We'd blow it at the end ever time. One time, a RB fell down going in for the winning score. Beat all I have ever seen. I have a high amount of respect for McNeese, though. There's some nice folks down that way. That said, there ain't a program in the FCS that should ever get in your head like that, but they did us. As for changes, let management handle it. I hate seeing anybody lose a job, but this is football and losing jobs and gaining jobs seems to be par for the course. I just know we can do better, much better, than we have been doin' the past decade or so. Alright, we fixin' to go praise the Lord Jesus for everything we have and don't have. Can I say that here? Well, I reckon I just did. Later taters. See y'all next season if I ain't banned for saying the Lord's precious name on here.
