Honestly can’t remember the last time we won in Hammond or beat SLU but Saturday night will be a huge test and I think a very important game as we start a brutal 4 game stretch.
I think we’re gonna have to score 35+ plus to win with how are defense is doing, any thoughts?
Edit: the last time we won against southeastern was 51-17 in 2011.

I think we can score ~30 points on Southeastern. Will that be enough? I think so but the defense needs to have a really good game.

I do think this one may be another 40-points-apiece type game. Hoping it favors towards the good guys, but I don’t even have an educated guess on this one.
Just for book-keeping purposes I’ll say 52-48 NSU

That's probably about when they hired whoever that HC was from Delta St and their team turned into nothing but transfers. I agree on the defense. I watched a little bit of the SLU vs. Lamar last weekend...Lamar lost in a close one. I feel like this is a game we can win but the defense is gonna have to play well. I believe Lamar's defense held them to just 24 points but we are going to have to contain their QB as he can also scramble. At this point I think our offense will be able to score points on any team in the SLC but can the defense keep the other team from lighting us up?

If our defense plays well, we should be ready to take the win. If we can't contain their QB, it could be a big letdown. Hopefully, we will rise to the challenge. They will be really gunning for us, simply because of the Father-Son competition: the Scelfo house divided.

The Lion WR's are so open Stevie Wonder could complete passes against our secondary right now...not sure why they are even trying to run the ball.

Can anyone tell me why we don’t make a concerted effort to force feed the ball to Jazz Ferguson?

Defense and punt coverage has been bad every game but what really has me scratching my head is our pass play calling...either those long, low % of success throws or passes into the flat that hasn't worked yet.

I am just truly baffled by our offensive play calling right now. The two turnovers by the defense is the only thing even keeping us in the game.

Did not see this coming. Looks like the BYE week did more harm than good. SLU might be a little better team but they aren't 21-3 better.

SLU sure has a lot of showboating pricks on their team...acting like they're playing on Monday Night Football. Seems like it's been that way ever since they hired Ron Roberts.

I hope SLU doesn't win another game the entire season...these bunch of asshole talk shit after EVERY play.

Not upset to see that #7 go down after that play. They definitely are some showboaters for a middle of the road Southland team
