That is without a doubt the most embarrassed i have ever been at a demon game. Ms State was bad, ull was bad, slu was bad, uca was bad, but this was the worst. Sam struggled with a&m commerce last week. We didnt even look like we belonged on the same field. It was so very very embarrassing.

Their starting running back averaged over 13 yards a carry on 15 touches. What??? they had 38 first downs…I've never heard of a team doing that. I wish Jay would just admit we're freaking terrible, I would feel so much better if we just called a spade a spade and confess that this team is downright abysmal and a total joke. Jeez man just say it for crying out loud. Its always an excuse, its always about how "good" and superior our opponent is, Im tired of hearing that. Scott Stoker wouldn't have made those type of excuses. I don't know about this staff to be honest, I know they're not going anywhere but the defense is so poorly coached I have no idea what they're even doing. DBs can't get off blocks whatsoever, the d-line is standing straight up at the snap and getting driven back10 yards. Absolutely no fundamentals or technique. That was a low point today, not even close to being competitive to a team that isn't even the best in conference.

This is trueley the worst defense that the Demons have ever put on the field. It's simply a lack of talent and sadly terrible effort. You can't put the blame for a lack of talent on the new DQ but you can for the effort issue. I hate to say this but you can't fix the talent issue in 1 year , it will take several years of focusing on recruiting the talent we need . The current defensive staff needs to be judged by the level of effort that the defense displays and yesterday i'am afraid they got an F. You will never right this ship if you don't fix the talent issue and the attitude that your players play with. Let's focus out attention to recruiting some football players that are athletic and play with an attitude!

We have good players on defense. Josh Roberts, Fr -- DT, has the chance to be one of the best we've had on the DL. Dannie Harmon and LaAllen Clark -- So -- DE's -- will be very good. Lyn Clark and Brice Borgerson, So & Fr -- LB's, are dynamic players. Ike Warren and D'Ronne Littleton -- Fr -- CB's, have been tossed to the wolves this year, but have the ability to be the next great CB's to come out of NSU. Ryan Reed -- S -- Fr -- will be a lights-out safety. The kid can play ball. The problem is we lost players like Imoan Claiborne, Deon Simon, Damon Medcafe, Fred Thomas, Justin Evans, Bradley Roussel and Marion Chapman (all starters). It's hard to replace this kind of Senior leadership in one year. Especially when two of the aforementioned are now on the NY Jets and TB Bucs rosters. It's obvious we under-performed last year by a couple games. Of course, we were absolutely robbed at SFA last year when we picked them off at the end of the game and we were called for interference. That win would have put us in the playoffs. We would have been beaten at N. Iowa, as SFA was, but it would have been a nice accomplishment for our program. So, in addition to those young guys I mentioned, we still have players like Darrien Batiste, Isaiah Wheeler, Shawn Stephens, Ron Perry, Adam Jones (NFL future), Darius Poullard, Ralphael Green and Manny Mukes, all solid players, (starters some or all of this year) have an off-season to fix what what they didn't understand this year as we implemented a brand new 3-3-5 defense. Sure, we aren't good at all on defense right now, in fact, we're bad, but I believe we will be much-improved next year. How much better? Who knows? We should also be as good or even better on offense with Blumenthal and Almond getting some snaps this year and only being Soph's, our RB's will be lights out with Llorens, Jones, Green (who returns from a year off), Dora, West, Vaughn and no telling who we bring in. Our WR's and TE's will be fine. Yes, we'll miss Ed Eagan and Cody Jones, but we will be fine with Hawthorne, McClain, Ryan, Mafi, Boone, Ficklin, Lazare, Bourque, Fabrizio, Irons, Horne, Chan-Chan and whomever we bring in. In the end, our biggest needs will be replacing Pace Murphy, Delryn Wilson, Zach White, Ed Eagan, Cody Jones, LeRoy Armstrong and Jacob Merriman (we are only losing six players on defense our of 33 on the three-deep). We will be better next year ... much better. Finally, I wish guys like Stephen Rivers would go FCS initially or after a couple years at the FBS level. He has surprised me and would have been much better off had he had two to three years in Natchitoches to hone his craft. The kid is better than most give him credit for, but he just got to us too late. Finally ... Trust Jay!!! He can get it done. He's done it before and he will do it again. (BTW, I left off several other names that could help us next year, but I'm tired of typing.)

Thats the whole point we're making genius. Read the post, maybe take a second pass if you're struggling. A d2 team would beat us because the defense is atrocious. And we certainly looked like we belonged last year when we kicked your ass, and sam didn't look like they belonged at mcneese last week.

A full-grown man that will leave a vitriolic comment on an opposing team's fan forum, especially after his team won the contest the day before, and lash out like a little girl over a comment he doesn't like should really do a deep introspection into his pitiful life.

This is guy is clearly just trying to get a rise and get some attention. Its childish and pathetic. Saying words hiding behind a computer screen, I can promise wouldn't be said in person.

Have to get some JC players to come in and shore up the D. You can teach a lot of things, but not talent. Talent level has really moved up in all our opponents.

Ronald Perry, Raphael Green, Featherston, Diontre Thomas, Shawn Stephens, Batiste…all defensive transfers. I don't get it, sam and these other schools that bring in transfers are getting impact players and we don't get guys that make a difference. Our linebackers are not big enough and get smothered, our defensive line is getting no penetration or plugging up any gaps. These opposing running backs are getting 8-10 yards easily without even being touched. Like I said, I don't know anymore. You are correct though, the talent disparity is very obvious and depressing when I think back to the days of Gary Riggs, Marvin Byrdsong, Jamal Johnson, David Pittman, Ed Queen, Quentin Newhouse…I could go on and and on...

Just a heads up, most of us on here are mods (which I set up like that on purpose). I'm totally cool with people talking trash but please don't hesitate to delete and ban someone that's here purely just to troll and be an idiot. I guess a congrats for him being the first person to ever get a "ban" here.
Back on topic...
I do agree, we got exposed against Sam Houston and it was definitely have a lot of work to do. Shocked me as I really thought we were better than that and had fixed some issues.

Hey guys, I traced "James Gang"s IP address and found out where he lives. He called the cops when I barged in, but I was able to get this photo of him before I left.
