I agree...I'll trade a close 5-8 point loss tonight and for seeing Walkup and Parker cry that they got bounced in the SLC tournament.

Lady Demons up 22-18 at the half...Ladies NEED this win. Hopefully they can hold on in the 2nd half.

Mirror image of the last game...Lady Demons unable to hit the shots down the stretch...missed several wide open threes in the 2nd half. Meanwhile player for SFA who hasn't had a basket the whole game makes a three...

We just have no size...all we can do is settle for jump shots or threes...can't get anything in the paint, including rebounds.

Lady Demons fall..that loss is really gonna hurt us in the standings. UCA lost and McNeese didn't play today. I REALLY hope the Stoehrs are trying to find one or two taller girls after the season is finished. We at times can't score but it's because we can't get the ball inside because of our size and settle for jacking up threes or 15 ft jump shots...which, can't be rebounded bc of our size.
Mens game tips off in about 15 minutes...most likely with the same result. 1. We get blown out because we can't score and can't defend all of SFA's weapons. 2. It's a close game until the final few minutes when SFA makes the plays.

We have guys shooting three's that have no business shooting three's. Their season record shooting them is bad, so they should STOP! We also have three points in five mins. We keep this up and this one will be over at the half.

These guys are just better than we are. Plain and simple. They've beaten us four times in a row and are looking as if it will be five times unless we wake up. Meh ... still a good year, though.

I hate SFA with every fiber of my being...nothing would make me happier than to see them railroaded in the NCAA tournament. I hope they enjoy it because they won't be on top forever...

We couldn't box out a junior high team our rebounding is so bad.

Just a glaring example of how badly we get stomped when we have no one helping Zeek or Jalen.
Tip of the cap to SFA tonight, no doubt the better team won handily. Maybe we'll get another chance and make the most of it in Katy.

This is what happens when you play your worst game in a while. Can't give credit all to SFA's defense...we missed a ton of wide open looks...all the 50/50 bounces went the Jacks way...too many unforced/silly turnovers. When you do that against a team that doesn't make mistakes you lose by 30.

We got our ass whipped by a much better team. Plain and simple. They have beaten us five times in a row. We choked on their fundamental efforts. I hope we win Saturday to best last year's win total, but we need consistent players outside of West and Woodley or this trend will continue. If this were the working world, the whole team outside of those two, save Frazier, would have been fired tonight. We have too many who want to dunk or toss up ill-advised three's and not play defense. We deserve to be right where we are, in third/fourth place because of it. And we best get used to it until we learn to be a complete team. The conference has changed and "out-athelete-ing" the opponent is a thing of the past. Change or be left behind. That's the unfortunate truth.

Props to SFA, better team and they play unselfish fundamental basketball. We need to hit on all cylinders to have a shot against them and we didn't tonight and they took us apart.

My frustration got the best of me last night. I was just sorely disappointed in our performance. National stage, a chance to move up in seeding IF we could win, exacting revenge on the last four losses, etc. But, we stunk it up! Now, all we can do is take UNO seriously and go to Katy and set our minds like a flint that we will, too, play defense as well as offense. If we're fortunate enough to win our first game, we'll get Sam Houston in the 2nd game. If we can figure out a way to beat Sam, and I mean IF, we get another shot at SFA most likely. IF it all works out that way, we'll be on an even bigger stage and I sure hope we show up. Anyway, we have to beat UNO first. So, my apologies for being too frustrated over last night. Later.

So losing last night was bad but what it will do in the overall standings will be worse...we lost and AMCC won putting us in a tie for third. AMCC has the tie breaker over us bc they won the only matchup. Which means we'll be the no. 4 seed, in SFA's bracket, rather than the no. 3 seed in Sam's side. So, IF we even get to play SFA again it will be after 2 games and tired legs.
